Our teams don’t just clear your property — they sort, donate, and dispose of items with care and purpose.

Follow us:

Clearing space shouldn’t come at the expense of the planet

That’s why every clearance we carry out across Kent and East Sussex is approached with environmental responsibility at its core. In 2025, this matters more than ever.

Whether we’re removing a single fridge from a flat in Tunbridge Wells or carrying out a full-scale property clearance in Sevenoaks, our team works to ensure that waste is handled the right way — not the fastest or cheapest way, but the most responsible one.

What eco-friendly clearance means in practice

It’s not just about loading and leaving

For us, sustainability is built into every part of the process. Here’s how that looks day-to-day:

  • Pre-sorting items before loading to separate recyclables, donatables, and general waste.
  • Transporting usable items to local charities and reuse centres where possible.
  • Working only with licensed waste transfer stations that follow proper environmental handling practices.
  • Managing hazardous materials (e.g., fridges, paint, asbestos) in full compliance with UK law.

All of this takes time, planning, and care — but it makes a real difference. In June 2025, our team recycled or repurposed over 86% of the total material we collected. That’s waste that didn’t end up in a skip or landfill.

🌍 Why it matters

The UK still sends over 12 million tonnes of waste to landfill each year. Much of it is avoidable. We’re working to be part of the solution by cutting down what gets discarded and keeping useful items in circulation.

From a customer point of view, this means you get the convenience of a fast, friendly collection — without the environmental guilt. We take care of everything, including the paperwork and legal compliance, so you can focus on what’s next.

“We don’t believe in shortcuts. Our responsibility doesn’t end at the back of the van.”

🚛 What types of waste do we handle?

Not all waste is equal. Here’s how we handle the most common categories across Kent and East Sussex:

  • Furniture & white goods – Donated if in working order, otherwise dismantled and recycled.
  • Garden waste – Composted or chipped, not bagged for landfill.
  • Fridges, freezers, TVs – Routed through specialist facilities due to chemical and electrical components.
  • Builders’ waste – Sent to licensed facilities for sorting, often resulting in 70%+ recycling rates.
  • Hazardous waste – Transported with appropriate labelling, storage, and treatment in line with legal obligations.

Whether we’re collecting from a flat, shop, school or construction site, we apply the same standards across the board. This is one reason why we’re trusted by both domestic customers and commercial clients throughout the region.

What happens after we leave?

Once your items are loaded, we document the load type, destination, and disposal route. Invoices include full details, and we can provide proof of disposal on request — something especially important for landlords, letting agents, and business clients with audit requirements.

On our side, we track every load and review our transfer station partners regularly to ensure continued compliance and high recycling standards. In 2025, we’re introducing digital load tracking across all clearance teams to further increase transparency.

How you can help

You don’t need to separate everything — we’ll handle that. But if you have items that might be useful to someone else (e.g. working appliances, boxed crockery, usable furniture), let us know. We’ll do our best to ensure they find a second home through local reuse networks.

If you’re uncertain about what can or can’t be collected, just ask. We’re always happy to clarify what we can safely and legally take — and if we can’t handle it ourselves, we’ll try to point you in the right direction.
