Removal and disposal of waste is an important part of each project and dealt with at our recycling unit which is equipped with a weighbridge for waste recording, also, wherever possible materials such as crushed brick, concrete etc can be recycled and used for further development projects. A hazardous waste disposal certificate will be posted to the site address from which the waste was collected. It is recommended that this document be kept for a minimum of three years in accordance with the Hazardous Waste Regulations 2005.
Planning is not normally required for demolition work as it is classed as Permitted Development. PD rights can, however, be removed or restricted, in whole or in part, by the local authority using an Article 4 Direction (often used on listed buildings or in Conservation Areas).
